CUSD Student Handbook
The Student Handbook lists important site and district policies, programs, and expectations. It is imperative that students AND parents are informed of this information. Please take some time to thoroughly review the handbook with your student so that they are familiar with expectations.
Art
Masterpiece
Art Masterpiece is an enrichment program where volunteers use reproductions of fine works of art to promote art literacy in children. Art is an integral part of life and the Art Masterpiece Program is a chance to stimulate the students' thought, perception and imagination. In the end, students attain a greater awareness of the world around them. Volunteers called "Art Guides" bring prints to the classroom and present a lesson and art activity planned for a particular grade level.
Lighthouse
School
Auxier Elementary is a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. The Lighthouse distinction is the highest level of achievement recognized through the Leader in Me program, an evidence-based, comprehensive learning model that builds leadership and life skills in students. The Lighthouse Schools certification is evidence that Auxier has produced outstanding results in school and student outcomes, by implementing the process with fidelity and excellence.
